Aletheia, Truth

Truth exists.
It is not owned by perspective, and it is not created by feeling.
Experience colors how truth is encountered, but it does not replace what is real.

When we say β€œthat’s just your experience,” we sometimes mean humility.
But often we mean avoidance.

Truth does not disappear because it is uncomfortable.
It does not dissolve because people disagree.
It remains β€” quietly β€” whether we acknowledge it or not.

Distortion is loud.
Truth is steady.

Daily Dawn β€” Truth in Situation

Truth exists in situations, not just in feelings about them. Where confusion enters. People often substitute:
Experience for truth
Opinion for truth
Intent for truth
Feeling for truth

Experience describes how reality is felt.
Truth describes how reality is.

Truth exists when we stop turning away.

Today’s practice
Pause once today and notice where you are tempted to soften, qualify, or relativize something you already know to be accurate.

Do nothing with it.
Do not correct anyone.
Do not persuade.

Simply notice:
What remains true even if no one agrees with you?

That is truth.

Let it stand without defense.

Another practice
When circumstances feel messy or incomplete, name one simple truth that remains true anyway.

Do not explain it.
Do not defend it.

Let it orient you.

That is enough.
