Faithful Return

 “Faithful return” is the hidden heart of all practice.

Many chase after greatness as if it lies far ahead,
but the Way is circular, not distant.
It lives in each moment you come back —
to stillness after distraction,
to kindness after irritation,
to light after weariness.

Even Heaven renews itself by returning.
Each dawn is proof that constancy is more powerful than haste.

You need not rush toward perfection;
simply return, again and again,
until returning becomes your nature.
