Restoration of Proportion

Your work is not to become more comfortable with dysfunction.
Your work is to become more faithful to proportion.

That is the integration.

Not:
How do I stop feeling anger?
But:
How do I let anger instruct proportion without letting it govern my speech?

Not:
How do I be endlessly understanding?
But:
What is actually mine to carry, and what must remain visible as someone else’s responsibility?

A Vow of Proportion

What is mine, I will carry with dignity.

What is not mine, I will no longer carry to preserve illusion.

Truth need not shout.

It only needs to remain.

Truth rarely gives certainty.

It gives clear seeing.

Clear seeing is not meant to make you heavier.

It is meant to return weight to its rightful place.

Some of what you have been carrying will quietly fall back into the world where it belongs.

That is not abandonment.
That is restoration of proportion.
