Something new is beginning at Dawn of Dawns.

For a long time, the Daily Dawn Messages have offered words for reflection—small lights for the day.

There are now hundreds of these messages gathered here, forming a library to return to whenever they are needed.

But the Dawns were never meant only to be read.

They are meant to be lived.

And so a new series begins:

Daily Dawns

Small rituals for ordinary life.

These will be simple practices for the places where life actually happens—waking and sleeping, cleaning and cooking, working and resting, tending our homes, crossing thresholds, grieving, beginning again.

They require very little. Sometimes nothing more than attention.

We make a place.

We give it our attention.

And we allow the ordinary to become capable of receiving the sacred.
